Role in CNNCTS

The La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians is committed to addressing climate change impacts through innovation, collaboration and working with the community. They will coordinate the implementation of climate adaption strategies that integrate and document impacts of cultural burning and land stewardship practices. Their project aims to measure adaptation planning impacts through soil, plant health, and plant diversity surveys with the information shared through community events and incorporated into western science.
