Oversee and manage the Climate Science Alliance's Invest Program, which invests in community projects, programs, and individuals through financial grants, fellowships, and capacity building support.

As the Invest program lead, the Grants Program Manager builds and nurtures relationships with community partners, ensures compliance with contract and grant requirements, manages the flow of funds, and supports awardees in achieving their goals.

Assistant Program Director, Native American Resource Center

The Assistant Program Director of the Native Resource Center (NRC) supports the academic success, personal development, and community engagement of Native and Indigenous students at SDSU. This role provides leadership in developing and implementing programs that foster inclusion, advocacy, and student retention while advancing the mission and goals of the Native Resource Center and the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity.

The Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance (TERA)

Grant Manager

The Grant Manager is an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced grant and project manager who is adept at navigating reimbursable state and federal grant requirements. This role will manage a portfolio of federal and state grants, which support a diverse set of activities including facilities upgrades; equipment purchases; workforce development training; and on-the-ground ecocultural fire and stewardship. The position reports to the Stewardship Director.


The Grant Manager will be responsible for managing compliance, reporting, and support invoicing for grants and collaborating with the Admin team to develop robust administrative systems organization-wide that are compliant with all relevant federal and state requirements. This role will also collaborate with TERA’s finance department to ensure all compliance and reporting requirements are met. Currently this portfolio includes managing a Housing and Community Development Community Development Block Grant subaward through the Workforce Alliance of the North Bay, a USDA Forest Service Community Wildfire Defense Grant subaward through the Lake Resource Conservation District, and a California Strategic Growth Council subaward through the Tamien Nation. This portfolio may shift and expand over time.

Indigenous Just Transitions & Indigenous Climate Just Emergency Preparedness Program

This program from the Sacred Places Institute for Indigenous Peoples (SPI) is designed to be intertribal and intergenerational, providing our communities with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for climate and environmental challenges while honoring traditional wisdom. We are looking for Indigenous educators, knowledge holders, and cultural practitioners to lead teachings in one of the following six topics: Intertribal (Intergenerational) Cultural Exchange and Preparedness Marine Life and Biodiversity Climate Disaster Preparedness Food Sovereignty Traditional Medicine Essential Survival Tools and Sustainable Practices.

Social Media Intern

The Acjachemen Tongva Land Conservancy (ATLC) is seeking a student intern to assist with their social media presence and engagement. We invite college students committed to advancing Native and Indigenous knowledges along with a passion for rematriation, Indigenous stewardship, and social media communications to apply for this position. The student intern will work remote under supervision by ATLC staff as the social media specialist, in which they will: 

  • Collaborate with ATLC partners and staff to advance media engagement

  • Create ATLC social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter))

  • Update the ATLC website

  • Write blogs and/or newsletters
