CNNCTS Featured in ‘Purposeful Partnerships’ CalState Article

CalState’s recent article titled “Purposeful Partnerships: Supporting Native Communities in Heritage Preservation” highlights CSU campuses engaging in initiatives and partnerships with Indigenous communities and Tribal nations, such as CNNCTS!

The Collaborative of Native Nations for Climate Transformation and Stewardship (CNNCTS) was featured in CalState’s Article titled “Purposeful Partnerships: Supporting Native Communities in Heritage Preservation” published on November 4th, 2024. The article, written by Alex Beall, spotlights CNNCTS and the Native Coast Action Network (NCAN) among the CSU initiatives advancing Indigenous knowledges. NCAN is a CNNCTS Partner leading the Cycles of Renewal project, through which they train Native fire stewards to revitalize good fire practices in Chumash homelands.
